Talon Broughton

Voice Faculty

Hello! My name is Talon, and I am thrilled to be part of the Houston Voice Studio faculty. I am a vocalist and educator with a background in classical performance, musical theater, contemporary commercial styles, and vocal pedagogy. My teaching style is warm, curiosity-driven, and rooted in helping singers understand how their instruments work so they can build confidence, flexibility, and artistic freedom.

I emphasize vocal health through flexibility and artistic freedom. My goal is to help singers expand their vocal abilities and develop as many tools as possible in their vocal toolbox. By strengthening coordination, building functional efficiency, and exploring a wide range of colors and textures, I help students develop a voice that is sustainable, versatile, and expressive. Whether a moment calls for clarity, power, warmth, edge, or nuance, I want singers to feel free to choose the sound that best serves their expression.

Emma Hayden

Voice Faculty

Hello! I'm Emma Hayden, a dedicated and passionate singer, actress, director, and proud Houston Voice Studio faculty member! With a background in musical theater, a passion for music education, and a deep love for the arts, I've embarked on a journey to inspire and nurture voices of all ability levels.

As a singer instructor, I strive to implement healthy and technically sound singing practices, unlock the full potential of every student, and nurture my singer’s confidence and personal growth beyond their artistic abilities. I find so much joy in supporting and encouraging students through their musical and non-musical journeys. As a singer with training in both classical and musical theater styles, I believe that a singer can explore any musical genre with the right tools, techniques, and strategies.

Chloe Ridolfo

Voice Faculty

Hello! My name is Chloe, and I’m so excited to be teaching with Houston Voice Studio. I love helping singers build confidence, take pride in their artistry and technique, and develop their unique voice in a safe and supportive environment. As a teacher, my goal is to meet each singer where they are, offer tools that fit the way they learn best, and cheer them on as they grow.

With training in both musical theater and opera, I love helping students build breath support, sing smoothly through different registers, and find confidence in belt, mix, and more classical sounds. I believe first and foremost that a singer has to engage with the text of whatever they are singing, so I work closely with students to bring acting, character work, musical dynamics, and different vocal qualities into their performances.

Angie Tovar

Voice Faculty

Hello! My name is Angie, and I’m so excited to be part of the Houston Voice Studio faculty! I’m a passionate and energetic voice teacher who believes that singing should be both technically grounded and joyful. My goal is to create a supportive, curiosity-driven space where singers feel confident exploring their voices, expanding their range, and discovering new things about themselves as artists. Whether you're just beginning your vocal journey or looking to deepen your technique and artistry, I’m excited to help you grow and cheer you on every step of the way.

My teaching philosophy is rooted in healthy vocal function, creative expression, and individualized learning. I help singers understand the “why” behind their sound by breaking down the anatomy of the voice and mechanics of healthy singing, including efficient breath management, registration balance, resonance shaping, and articulation. My ultimate goal for my singers is to build stylistic versatility so they can sing freely and sustainably across genres.

As a singing instructor, my main goal is to create a comfortable and nurturing environment for my students to explore their musicality. Whether your passion lies in musical theater, classical music, or contemporary genres, I’m excited to help you develop a strong and sustainable technique while unlocking your full potential as a singer. From refining your registration and mastering belting and mixing to enhancing breath support, I’m here to help you build confidence and hone your vocal skills!

Caitlin Duckworth

Founder and Voice Faculty

Hello! My name is Caitlin Duckworth, and I am the founder of Houston Voice Studio and a Contemporary Commercial Music Specialist! I founded Houston Voice Studio in 2021 to give Houston's singers access to the highest level of professional vocal training, performance opportunities, and artist development.

As a function-based instructor, I train my singers like athletes. Functional training focuses on targeting muscle groups in the voice, training for strength, increasing and mastering coordination, providing practical techniques, and ultimately giving my singers the tools and methods they need to sing in any genre they want.
